Making 'House' Music

Recently I came across a website that allows you to experience what electro artists such as daftpunk do in the studio. The site is called Drum Set where it basically shows a colourful image of a computer keyboard and just by typing in a single alphabet, you are able to make a drum beat and create your own signature sound. This made me think of the many ways people are able to make music outside the recording studio. Sites like Drum Set allows people to experience the sound of electro beats and the internet offers other virtual instruments that are provided for us to play. We no longer need the physical presence of an instrument. This link provides a virtual piano.Programs such as garageband allow people to experience music and recording outside the studio. Programs as such are useful for striving artists to record their sounds without actually having to go to a studio and pay for their material. Apple’s current edition Garageband 5 is a recording program which offers various options in recording using templates and digital samples. It has specific features where users are able to have virtual tutorials on learning a specific instruments from well known artists such as Sting and Norah Jones. GarageBand 5 also includes a cleaner and redesigned user interface allowing ease for the users. With options as such, users are able to get music lessons without having to invest a lot of money to get the knowledge they want especially with the recession today.
